APPEAL FOR FRANKIE
Meet the lovely Frankie.
Frankie was recently signed over to LRRSE. She was being left outside with little interaction or stimulation, not being walked and appeared to have served her purpose having had a couple of litters. When signed over to LRRSE she was apparently in good health with no known problems. Frankie has been one of the “lucky” ones, first to be signed over, rather than just discarded, and she went straight from her previous home into her new forever home. Her new owners realised within her first day with them that there was something wrong. They took her to the vets who diagnosed a luxating patella. As this all happened so quickly, and no problems were reported by her previous owner, she is not covered by insurance. LRRSE will therefore be funding the cost of her surgery and recuperation.
The initial surgery and rehabilitation is expected to cost in the region of £1,500. A Just Giving web page has been set up and we would like to try and raise at least £1,000 for her treatment.
